Bar Anniversary
A moment to unwind in the city.
Tucked below ground in Kabukicho, Bar Anniversary invites guests into a tranquil retreat with an extensive lineup of international and Japanese craft gins, whiskies, and classic cocktails.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Stepping down into basement level 1 of a Kabukicho building, the bustle of the entertainment district falls away into a calm, subdued atmosphere. At Bar Anniversary, the experience begins with taking in the fragrant aromas of gin poured into the glass, finding a drink tailored to the mood of the evening.
The core of the menu is an impressive cellar of craft gins distinguished by their regional character. European bottles feature prominently, from the Netherlands' Bobby's and VL92 to England's Silent Pool and Cotswolds, alongside Germany's Monkey 47. Domestic Japanese labels are equally well represented, including Ki No Bi, Roku, and Aburatsu Gin, offering the chance to compare distinct botanical blends from across the country.
Beyond staples like the gin and tonic or gin rickey, the bartenders craft a broad repertoire using rum, vodka, and tequila. Non-alcoholic creations such as the Summer Delight and Cinderella offer welcoming options for those pacing themselves. The spirits selection also runs deep in single malts, bourbons, and Japanese whiskies, well complemented by bar fare such as mixed nuts, cream cheese, and mini pizzas.
Open from 19:00 into the late-night hours, the bar provides a relaxed space to unwind at your own tempo, whether stopping by for an after-work nightcap or settling in for a quiet drink after dinner.
